Day 1 | Earthy Traditions & Orchard Rhythms

Yingge | The Ceramics Capital of Taiwan

We begin at the Yingge Ceramics Museum, a stunning glass-and-steel landmark housing over 3,500 works of art. After exploring the history of Taiwan’s kilns, we wander into Yingge Old Street. This pedestrian paradise is home to hundreds of boutiques and studios where you can find everything from delicate tea sets to modern ceramic sculptures.

Reflection at Yuemei Wetlands

Escape the crowds at Yuemei Wetland Park. Walk along winding boardwalks through six interconnected ponds, where the water acts as a perfect mirror for the Bald Cypress trees. It’s a peaceful ecological oasis right on the edge of the Daxi old town area.

Seasonal Fruit Picking in Daxi

We end the day at the Yamei Leisure Agricultural Area. Depending on the time of year, you can experience the joy of harvesting your own fruit: Dragon fruit in summer, Pomelos in autumn, or Citrus in winter. Taste the "farm-to-table" freshness and enjoy the sunset over the emerald green fields.

Day 2 | Glass Art & The Heart of the Coast

Hsinchu: The City of Glass

Start your morning at the Hsinchu Glass Gallery. Housed in a 1936 European-style guesthouse originally built for the Japanese Imperial family, the museum showcases Hsinchu's century-old glass-blowing industry. The architecture alone, with its historic charm, is worth the visit.

The Heart-Shaped Path: Xiangshan Wetlands

Walk the famous Xiangshan Wetland Crab-Watching Path. This 250-meter curving boardwalk is designed in a beautiful heart shape, allowing you to get up close to fiddler crabs and mudskippers without disturbing their habitat. As the sun begins to set, the wind turbines and the wet sands create a poetic, golden landscape.

Faith & Flavors: Hsinchu City God Temple

Our final stop is the Hsinchu City God Temple, the highest-ranking temple of its kind in Taiwan. Built in 1748, it is a masterpiece of religious architecture. Just outside the gates lies the Temple Night Market, which has been operating since the late 1800s. It’s the best place to try Hsinchu’s famous Pork Balls and Rice Noodles before we head back to Taipei.
