From Ancient Spirits to
Architectural Masterpieces

Taipei is a city built on faith and commerce. Our "Trails of Faith" tour takes you through the most significant spiritual landmarks and historic districts in the city. Experience the contrast between the elaborate carvings of Baoan Temple, the serene wisdom of the Confucius Temple, and the bustling merchant energy of Dadaocheng.

Why This Tour is a Must-Do

Healing for the
Body and Soul.

This 6.5-hour journey explores the concept of "Healing for the Body and Soul." You will witness the vibrant religious life at Longshan Temple, walk through the time-capsule streets of Bopiliao, and discover why the historic tea-trading district of Dadaocheng is now the city's coolest cultural hub.

Journey Highlights

What You'll See

Three movements through the spiritual and merchant heart of old Taipei.

01

Guardians of
Health & Wisdom

We visit the Baoan Temple (built in 1804), a masterpiece of decorative art and a center for those praying for health. Directly opposite sits the Taipei Confucius Temple. Rebuilt in 1930, its minimalist Minnan-style architecture embodies the quiet pursuit of knowledge and "education for all." Together, they represent a perfect balance of physical and spiritual wellness.

02

Dadaocheng — Where
19th-Century Trade
Meets Modern Art

Explore the heart of Dihua Street. Once a global hub for tea, silk, and Chinese medicine, this district features a stunning mix of Qing Dynasty shopfronts and Baroque facades. Today, century-old herb shops sit alongside chic "hidden" cafes and design studios, creating Taipei's most exciting destination for "Old-meets-New" culture.

03

Longshan Temple —
The Spiritual Heart
of Wanhua

Established in 1738, Longshan Temple is a living museum of faith. Beneath its ornate dragon-clad roofs, Buddhists and Taoists alike seek guidance from deities like Guanyin and the God of Matchmaking (Yuelao). The constant sound of chanting and the clatter of "jiaobei" (divination blocks) offer a sensory immersion into local life.
